9 Steps To Your Mindset Success!

9 Steps To Your Mindset Success!
The ability of the human mind can serve us beyond our wildest imaginations. It has an unlimited capacity to learn; and when properly nurtured, it promotes clarity of thought, achievement, and even longevity of life. Taking responsibility for the successful activity of your mind and deliberately stimulating it for productive output can reap tremendous rewards.
It is easy for us to project our mental activities toward external matters instead of looking within ourselves and intelligently utilizing the natural gifts of the brain. But, introspection is precisely where success begins and effective action gets processed.
When you understand that the mind is where imagination, inspiration, belief, change, and self-discipline must take place, and you begin to infuse powerful insights and techniques to structure the process, the potential results can be remarkable.
Taking control of your mental faculties and nurturing them to their best advantage provides significant inroads toward accomplishing your important goals.
For example, you learn how to overcome doubt, mental clutter, tolerations, resistance, and other self-limiting obstacles which can undermine, distract, and sabotage your personal growth and actions for the success you envision.
To help you find greater clarity toward achieving what matters most to you, carefully consider how you can begin to implement some or all of the following 9 key action steps for a successful mindset.
Once you realise the potential impact these points can have in your life, you will certainly want to make them a part of your everyday action plan for success.
1.
Understand that happiness and success originate from within you.
It is the world inside you that creates the conditions of your life. To positively change and grow you must truly realize that success or failure is a reflection of your inner world. Put another way, what you reveal outwardly depends on your inner thoughts and beliefs and how you decide to process and act on those elements. Once this is understood and actively addressed, inward and outward success can nurture one another and contribute to personal happiness and the life you desire.
2.
The mind holds a tremendous desire to be positively stimulated and to experience the feeling of success.
This part of you that feels, perceives, and reasons thirsts for your input and follow-through to achieve. In other words, your brain is designed to solve problems and to help you reach the goals that you give it. Think of your mind as a clean slate, where you have the opportunity to nourish and empower it with only the healthiest thoughts, beliefs, and intentions. The thoughts you choose to contribute toward your desired outcome gage the results you derive.
3.
Choice of thought and beliefs shape your life.
What you think about and believe is what you attract to your life. Clearly, thinking positively and actions of integrity beget the opportunity for more positive results. Likewise, negative, limiting or defeating thoughts beget the likelihood of negative results. Have you heard others declare that you should be careful what you wish for (say or think) as you may very well get it? There is truth in those words, and it can work for or against you. The way that you interpret or explain things to yourself is critical in determining who you are as person and the outcomes you experience.
4.
Decisions, actions, and results are your responsibility.
To experience a purposeful, balanced, and fulfilled life, it is imperative to accept 100 percent responsibility for the choices you make. This includes what you think, the beliefs you hold, the decisions you make, the actions you take, and the results you derive from those activities. There is only one person responsible for the quality of life you live. That person is you. By accepting full responsibility for your decisions, actions, and results, your approach going into any endeavor is optimized for the potential of a more positive outcome.
5.
The mind concentrates on a single thought at any given time - use it wisely.
If you accept that the mind holds a single thought at any given time, it would then seem advantageous that each thought should be truly constructive and contribute to your life. Perhaps that would not be realistic 100 percent of the time, but working toward a more effective choice of thought is certainly a better alternative than living with self-limiting or disempowering thoughts.
Learn to swiftly replace negative thoughts with positive, productive, or inspiring ones. It takes practice to do this consistently. But, you will find as you develop this insight and habit of capturing worthwhile, energizing thoughts, negative thoughts will be inhibited and eventually lose their power.
6.
Know that your thought patterns are habits, and some habits need to be changed.
Like most habits, you can change your patterns of thought. This includes what you think about and the best use of your mental energy. Often, we succumb to thinking patterns which do not offer much value. It is easy to become stuck with the same thoughts and beliefs, speaking the same words, and repeatedly doing the same things. Such a pattern can stifle creativity, learning, and opportunities for a more interesting and adventurous life. Learn to identify your patterns of thought and recognize where, or if, change is needed. But, you must be diligent when making changes, as familiar patterns (habits) which are not serving you well are deeply entrenched and new thinking patterns take time to establish.
7.
Self-image must be nurtured.
Each of us has our own native abilities, signature strengths, learning styles, and personality traits. As you move through your daily life, your self-image can support or sabotage your efforts. It can mean the difference between feeling inspired and taking action or being apathetic and remaining stagnate. An immediate way to begin addressing this issue is to take note of the mental pictures you hold of yourself. Are those images in alignment with what you actually desire for your life? If they are, that is outstanding. Continue to nurture and support yourself. If, however, after an honest self-appraisal, you feel a change is required to match the self-image you want, then figure out what change is necessary and make a commitment to accomplish it.
8.
Goals require belief, commitment, and persistence.
After determining what you want, with the end result in mind, establish both short and long term goals which are worthwhile, achievable, crystal clear, and measurable. Know why these goals are important to you and what inspires you to achieve them. Then courageously commit to your goals with specific time frames. Do not let fear, false starts, adversity, or other people derail your pursuit. Believing in the outcome determines the outcome. Know that you deserve what you want and that you will achieve your goal. Hold fast to your vision and maintain your focus.
9.
The subconscious mind is central to your success.
To truly effect worthwhile and long-term change toward achieving what matters most to you, your affirmative thoughts must reach the subconscious mind. It is said that as much as 90 percent of ones behaviour and beliefs are the result of what the subconscious mind accepts.
And, it has been shown that if you earnestly practice the exercise of feeding your mind with well-chosen information for at least 20 to 30 consecutive days you will have an excellent chance of impacting the subconscious mind for positive change.
Rather than letting your environment control your life, you will be astonished at how your subconscious mind can energise and support you when you learn to consult it and nurture it with the information that serves you best.

Harness Your Power Of Persistence

Harness The Power Of Persistence
There's a Japanese Proverb that says:
"Fall down seven times, get up eight."
That wise saying underscores the importance of persistence in the world of performance improvement.
In fact, many would argue that persistence is the single most important attribute in the success mindset.
Throughout history, we've been reminded of the value of sticking with something we're passionate about until we achieve what we want to achieve.
For example, there's a Buddhist saying,
"In the confrontation between the stream and the rock, the stream always wins - not through strength, but through persistence." In both the Old and New Testaments, there are numerous references to the value of persistence. James 1:4 (NLT) says, "...for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be strong in character and ready for anything."
Psychologist Edward De Bono has noted that, in his vast experience in working with successful people, he finds to two major qualities:
(1) they expected to do well and,
(2) they're persistent.
We know from our own experiences that frequently education and raw talent are often trumped by persistence. Those who succeed in any venue are often not the most intelligent or the most talented. They simply figure out a way to go over, under, around or through the obstacles thrown in front of them.
Remember, the stream always finds its way around the rock.
Persistence is an intrinsic motivation. It comes from deep inside. The stronger the inner desire to succeed, the greater the chances of success. The fact is, we all face obstacles and challenges.
Successful people accept that fact and simply figure out a way to deal with them.
Those who persist face the cold, hard facts. Life is tough, the economy sucks, work is hard, life's not fair. So what? Success in life has always been difficult, work is always challenging, cheaters do prosper, and you won't win the lottery. Shake it off and move on.
One of the keys to persistence is to make sure we know where we're going and what we intend to achieve. A well thought out vision and clear, measurable goals help us focus on those things that really matter. Without vision and a serious commitment to achieving the goals we set, we'll be like 95 percent of the population who reach the end of their working life wishing they had taken more risks and challenged the status quo.
Look, good enough seldom is. The organisations and individuals who really stand out in the world have always been, and will always be, those who strive for continuous improvement and never give up on their dreams. They don't see change as a threat. They see change as simply a rock in the stream that has to be faced - and then they set about doing just that.
So, what's your persistence quotient? It's a question worth pondering. Do you hang in there and face life's obstacles or do you all too quickly throw in the towel? I remember reading one time that most people who fail were just one more step away from succeeding - they just quit too soon.
The power to persist comes from within. It can't be passed on to us by well-meaning parents and it's not something we can go out and buy. The power to persist comes from an inner belief in ourselves and in our vision for what we want to accomplish.
Are you experiencing the power of persistence, or are you on the verge of quitting when you may be just one step away from making your dream a reality? Don't quit. Never give up! Be like that persistent but gently flowing stream that faces its obstacles and finds a way around them.

Message From The Universe: It Is Time To Celebrate

Message From The Universe:
It Is Time To Celebrate
"Anyone watching you?
Good. This is a double-secret exercise.
Pretend you just received a phone call with wonderful, mind-blowing, life-changing news!
As you put down the receiver, your arms fly up over your head with joy. Pumping fists, then waiving palms, like you just crossed a finish line before throngs of adoring fans. You cover your face with your hands trying to contain the euphoria, but it doesn't work, so you reach for the sky again while shaking your head in disbelief. You're grinning, crying, and just so happy! YES! Life is awesome and you feel so grateful!
Got it?
Now if someone catches you doing this, just tell 'em it was your pet psychic who called, and they'll forget everything they just saw.
XXOO,
The Universe"

What a feeling right?
After years of working your ass off day in and day out for great things to finally happen to you.
You can't keep your excitement at bay, you jump with joy that all your hard work paid off.

You look up to the sky and thank the power from above for your fortune.
You have tears in your eyes flowing down like Niagara Falls. These tears of joy are because YOU did it, because YOU never gave up, because YOU pushed through despite many of the struggles you faced in your lifetime.

Learn to ALWAYS appreciate who you are as a person and the kind of individual that is strong, persistent, determined to make things happen.

All of this happened thanks to YOU, my friend, and you have all the rights in the world to jump up and down like Tom Cruise on Oprah's sofa when he first met Katie Holmes. You deserve that moment of fame and this is when the fun really begins.

You can't stop now as the momentum will propel you in higher altitudes.

This is your time to shine.

I am sure that you have been in the passenger seats when you have seen others succeed far beyond your imagination.
You witnessed entrepreneurs starting small and reaching the height of Mt Everest when it comes to wealth and stardom. They worked very hard to get up there and never abandoned ship. You wondered: "How did they do it? How did they make all this happen? Are they smarter than me? Why do they have that I don't?" Remember all these questions?
Well, here you are now, today, where you have reached these summits and have pursued your dreams. I am sure that others are looking at your now, asking the exact same questions as you did when you looked at other successful entrepreneurs. This is how the cycle of successful people perpetuates in our wonderful land.
That is why it is always important to hang around people who are more successful than you as they will inspire you to always be better, push harder and accomplish more in your life.
Enjoy this journey, as it has just begun!

The Power Of Persistence

The Power of Persistence

I tend to write articles on concepts I want to understand better myself, so when the quality of persistence came to mind, I saw it as an opportunity to enhance my insights on the subject.
I begin with the ubiquitous quote by Calvin Coolidge which aptly sums up the quality of persistence:
"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.”
The conventional definition of persistence is: "Refusing to give up or let go; persevering obstinately; firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition."
Is it any wonder then, that persistence is the fundamental difference between a successful outcome and a failed outcome? In that case, it behooves us to develop the vital quality of persistence.
Here are some tips on developing persistence or perseverance:
Decide what you want to accomplish and set goals
We all know how important setting goals is for achieving success in any endeavour, so take some time to figure out what it is you want. Do you want to lose ten pounds, graduate from college, run a marathon or be a business success? In a study done in New York several years ago researchers surprisingly found that people who set clear, concise goals succeeded in achieving them 95% of the time! Interestingly, the one caveat or stipulation was that they only achieved their goals if they refused to quit and continued to bounce back from difficulties along the way.
Indeed, no significant feat has ever been accomplished without the trials and tribulations that go along with it. In his wonderful poem Don't Quit Edgar Albert Guest gives us plenty of inspiration and encouragement to forge ahead, particularly when the going gets tough. (Have a look at the poem: Don't Quit).
Prepare for Obstacles and Setbacks

Know and accept that there will be obstacles and setbacks; then prepare for them. Nothing important was every accomplished without adversity, setbacks and difficulties to contend with along the way. Henry Ford went bankrupt three times before he managed to design his first automobile. As we all know and are grateful for, he subsequently succeeded to become one of the richest men in the world. He said: "Failure is merely an opportunity to more intelligently begin again.” Thomas Edison is said to have tried 10,000 times to create the light bulb before he succeeded. His attitude was: "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that don't work." Persistence is definitely the difference between a successful outcome and a failed one due to giving up.
One of the ways you can prepare for setbacks and obstacles is to anticipate potential problems and have a contingency plan. For example, if you're trying to lose weight, you must know that there will be occasions when it's not possible to stick to your weight loss regimen. In such cases, you will need to prepare alternative meals ahead of time or be mentally prepared to deviate from your regimen. Unfortunately, instead of allowing for and being prepared in such situations, many people give up entirely declaring it impossible to stick any diet. In doing so, they often sabotage all healthy eating and give up in despair.
Another example would be endeavoring to become a marathon runner and you fail on your first attempt at finishing a marathon. Should you give up and never try again? No, not at all! You would have to figure out where you may have miscalculated your fitness level, the type of food you ate and your training patterns. After doing some research to find out how improve, you would then give it another whirl!
Also keep in mind that when we are overwhelmed with a problem or difficulty, we don't have time then to develop the persistence necessary to deal with the particular obstacle or set back. However, if we plan in advance for life's inevitable ups and downs, we will be psychologically ready when they come upon us.
Take the first step

You cannot persevere; much less succeed, if you never try to accomplish something. So many of us procrastinate, fear failure or are too frozen in our tracks to take the first step towards achievement. You will not fail if you don’t try something, however, you will never succeed either. As the popular saying goes, "The only real failure in life is the failure to try."
Review, reevaluate and revise

If things do not work out the way you hoped then review the steps you took and the process you followed. Reevaluate by examining what went wrong and where. What didn't work? What could you have done better? Did you have all the necessary skills and tools? Your findings will be most illuminating, and in turn, allow you to set up a better, more comprehensive approach. You will revise and improve the current strategy.

Garner support and encouragement

Stay away from naysayers; instead seek advice from those experienced in your field of endeavor and those who want you to succeed. They can assist you by making suggestions and recommendations based on their experience and expertise. You will still have to do the hard work, but there is nothing more encouraging than having positive reinforcement.
Maintain focus

One of the obstacles to attaining success is losing motivation and focus. A good way to maintain focus is to visualise yourself accomplishing your goal no matter what it takes. Vividly see yourself accomplishing your goal – keep your eye on the prize. Likewise, avoid getting caught up in negative or unproductive thinking such as, "This will never work." "I can't do this." Instead, keep inspiring slogans handy, pictures of those who have persevered in life, and whatever else will motivate and boost your drive.
Enjoy!
The greatest feelings of accomplishment derive from knowing you've overcome obstacles and conquered adversities to achieve your goals. Your ultimate success will be exponentially more satisfying and fulfilling when you know what it took to get there.
